Allu Arjun’s pan-Indian action drama Pushpa: The Rise has already declared itself as a box office success. Even a month after its grand theatrical release, the movie is still collecting big money.
The latest news about the movie is that the Hindi dubbed version of the Allu Arjun starrer has now collected over Rs 100 crore in the country.
Trade analyst Ramesh Bala took to Twitter to reveal that the Hindi version of Pushpa: The Rise has crossed the three digit mark in India. This is a monumental feat for a Telugu movie to dominate the North Indian market.
Bala also confirmed that only Superstar Rajinikanth and Prabhas are the two other South Indian actors who have previously crossed the Rs 100 crore box office collection mark in Hindi.
Written and directed by Sukumar, the movie tells the tale of Pushpa Raj (Allu Arjun), who slowly grows from a small-time red sandalwood smuggler to one of the biggest players and leaders of the illegal trade.
Apart from Allu Arjun, Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna also star in the movie, with the former making his Telugu debut. The movie also features Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Sunil, Rao Ramesh, Dhananjaya, Anasuya Bharadwaj, and Ajay Ghosh in supporting roles.
Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer for the movie, with many of its songs already becoming a hit in multiple languages. While Mirosław Kuba Brożek is the cinematographer of Pushpa: The Rise, the movie is edited by Karthika Srinivas and Ruben.
Pushpa: The Rise, which was released in theaters across the country in five languages on December 17 last year, is currently available to stream on Amazon Prime Video.
