Steve Martin’s illustrious career is dotted with as many as five Grammy Awards, a Primetime Emmy Award, and an Honorary Academy Award. While Martin gained much recognition during the 60s as the scribe for The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour, it was his stint as the host of Saturday Night Live that shot Martin to overnight stardom. He has been a part of canonical comedy films like Father of the Bride series, The Pink Panther franchise and The Man with Two Brains, among others. His last project before Only Murders in the Building was the third instalment of the Father of the Bride franchise titled Father of the Bride Part 3 (ish)
