Shah Rukh Khan, who has won many hearts with his ability to make people feel special, has also enchanted actor R Madhavan, who is awestruck by the superstar's humility. While promoting his next flick, Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, in New Delhi on Monday, Madhavan revealed that SRK did not demand a single dime for his role in the film.

As per ANI, Madhavan said that when he worked with Shah Rukh Khan in Zero, he spoke about rocketry with him. The superstar distinctly recalled asking him about the film's status and expressing his wish to be a part of it at one of his birthday parties. Khan informed Madhavan, 'Mujhe background mein koi bhi role chalega main is film ka hissa hona chahta hoon.' to which the Saala Khadoos actor assumed SRK was joking when he said that.

Two days later, Madhavan's wife, Sarita, requested him to thank Khan for his sweet words. The Guru actor sent a message to SRK's manager, asking her to express his gratitude to the superstar. Madhavan then received a text back from the manager saying, "Khan Sahab dates puch rahe hai shoot ki," and that's how SRK ended up in his film.

Suriya, like SRK, did not charge for his cameo appearance in Rocketry, which is based on the story of Nambi Narayanan, a former rocket scientist at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) who was wrongly convicted of espionage and incarcerated in 1994.

SRK and Suriya did not charge for their contributions to the film, and Madhavan offered his thoughts. Caravans, costumes, and assistants were all provided free of charge. Suriya, in fact, flew out to Mumbai with his crew on his own dime. He didn't charge for the flights or the Tamil dialogue writer who translated his words.

SRK and Suriya's gestures have boosted Madhavan's admiration for the wonderful individuals in the film industry.

Madhavan explained that in the industry, there are a lot of good people. He's an outsider, and over the course of his career, he has encountered a number of people who have gone out of their way to help him. At Madhavan's request, Amitabh Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra have tweeted their support for the film. The actor is grateful for their affection and admiration.

Madhavan will play Nambi Narayanan in the film, which is set to hit theatres on July 1. The film was shot in India, France, Canada, Georgia, and Serbia, and will be released in Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada across the globe.
