Rajeev Khandelwal on Miya Biwi Aur Murder co-actor Manjari Fadnnis: I was apprehensive of how the media would perceive us

Manjari Fadnnis seems to be having a wonderful year. The actor is about to unleash a wild, crazy narrative with Miya Biwi Aur Murder, following the recent release of the psychological thriller Masoom.

In the MXPlayer series, Fadnnis, who portrays the bored housewife to Rajeev Khandelwal's role, a cop-husband, explains that it's about a troubled marriage and how one night changes everything.

If you ask Fadnnis what attracted her to the part, she says her character's eccentricity. She told Mid Day that her persona is eccentric and weird. She has extensive knowledge of forensics, and her deductions from her investigation are accurate. The actor from Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na claims that her character always manages to come up with excellent ideas.

She adds that she didn't feel the need to act funny because the script led to comedy moments, but Fadnnis wanted to make the character honest. The actor had a good time, and the camera did a great job of capturing everything.

For the actor, working with Khandelwal was an absolute joy and had some humorous moments. The actor distinctly recalled being startled when she was unexpectedly congratulated on her marriage to Rajeev Khandelwal. She later discovered that her name and that of his wife, Manjri Kamtikar, are nearly identical.

Khandelwal elaborates on the mix-up, saying that his wife and his co-star are now excellent friends. Although they were working together, he was worried about how the media would portray them. However, there was no stress, and he was able to do intimate sequences with co-actors, and his wife was cool about it. Fadnnis and he didn't seem to be meeting for the first time at all.

While Fadnnis said that Khandelwal is a real and grounded actor, they share the same interests.
