In order to promote his next Ayan Mukerji-directed movie Brahmastra, Ranbir Kapoor is everywhere. Many spectators have high hopes for the movie because Bollywood has recently had some high-profile failures, including Laal Singh Chaddha, Raksha Bandhan, Jersey, Jayeshbhai Jordaar, Samrat Prithviraj, as well as Ranbir's Shamshera. Ranbir spoke candidly about the movie's failure during a recent promotional event in Delhi.

Ranbir stated, “If Shamshera didn’t run at the box office it means the audience didn’t like the film. The film didn’t work because the content wasn’t good.”

The plot revolved on a slave who rises to prominence in the imaginary city of Kaza in the 1800s. Ranbir portrayed the lead, who faces up opposite Sanjay Dutt's harsh and merciless Shudd Singh, a totalitarian commander. The movie also features an ensemble cast of Vaani Kapoor, Ronit Roy, Saurabh Shukla, and Ashutosh Rana. The movie's producer was Aditya Chopra, under the banner of Yash Raj Films, and it was directed by Karan Malhotra.

On the other hand, the Brahmastra crew is doing everything possible to promote their movie despite growing demands for a boycott. Various individuals using social media lately rediscovered an old clip of Ranbir admitting he enjoyed beef. Due to this, Ayan, Ranbir, and Alia Bhatt also weren't permitted to enter a temple in Ujjain.

As one of the most anticipated films of the year, Brahmastra: Part One - Shiva has received a lot of attention. It is slated to premiere on September 9. Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy all play significant parts in the movie.

On the work front, Ranbir will star with Shraddha Kapoor in Luv Ranjan's upcoming, untitled movie. Additionally, he will appear in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal, which also stars Anil Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna.
