After having wowed the audiences with some of the stellar performances in recent films like ‘Mardaani 2’ and ‘Bunty Aur Babli 2’, Rani Mukerji impressed everyone with yet another stunning performance in the recently released legal drama ‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway’. The film, which was directed by Ashima Chibber, garnered critical acclaim for not just the film’s storyline, but also Rani Mukerji’s performance.

Recently, Rani Mukerji was interviewed by Kareena Kapoor Khan for the latter’s radio show on Mirchi Plus titled, ‘What Women Want’. Readers may recall that, both the actors viz., Rani Mukerji and Kareena Kapoor Khan were seen in films like ‘Mujhse Dosti Karoge!’, ‘Talaash’, ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ and other films. It was really nice to see the coming together of the two actresses after a long time. The said interview saw Rani Mukerji speaking to Kareena Kapoor Khan about her take and experience of motherhood and in what way she has changed as a person after the birth of Adira.

Speaking about motherhood, Rani Mukerji told Kareena Kapoor Khan, “I think what happens to women when they become mothers is that there's something in us that changes immediately. The minute you see that baby out of your system and you look at that baby's face and it's like you suddenly realize that you're not important anymore, there's somebody else more important than you and it's the first time in your life you realize that we love somebody more than ourselves”.

Rani Mukerji also recalled the time when Adira was kept in NICU because she was a premature baby. Rani recalled, “She (Adira) was in the in NICU for about seven days, when she was actually supposed to be there for nearly like 15 days. But, luckily with God's grace, all the parameters that a baby needs to do Adhira just ticked in”. Rani also added that, when she was going to shoot for the first time after delivering Adhira, she said that she began to howl because, t was the first time that she left her 14 month old baby at home. She also said that, she was at home when Adhira took her first steps.”

Speaking of Adhira, Rani Mukerji told Kareena Kapoor Khan that, Adhira being the intelligent girl that she is, requests her to give her some ‘me-time’, something that her husband Adi had taught her.
