Ranveer Singh on Jayeshbhai Jordaar: I like that I'm able to surprise my audience

Ranveer Singh is now making waves thanks to his forthcoming film, Jayeshbhai Jordaar. The film is a social drama in which the star plays a peculiar character. As fans impatiently await the release of Jayeshbhai Jordaar, the makers have finally released the trailer, which has gone viral on social media.

During the trailer launch of the film held in Mumbai, Singh spoke to the press and described his role as "distinctive." He also mentioned that he does a lot of homework to get into character and try to bring something new to the table.

Ranveer was heard saying that it's up to one how much they want to invest in a job when they acquire it, and it's always been my goal to create unique roles. There should be some sense of surprise when a new character appears. Singh enjoys the fact that he can surprise his audience.

The actor said that Jayeshbhai is a very distinct character, and he is glad he got an opportunity to present a whole new facet. Singh added that this is the first time he's played a character like this in his career.

Maneesh Sharma, the film's producer, has previously revealed that he had offered Ranveer's name for the role of Jayeshbhai Jordaar. He added that the writing had always astonished him since it possessed such qualities. The filmmaker suggested to Aditya Chopra that we take the film to Singh, but he said he was too busy working with some of the country's best directors. However, Sharma persisted, and Singh heard the script, fell in love with it and came on board for Divyang Thakkar's directorial debut.

Jayeshbhai Jordaar also features Shalini Pandey as the female lead. The Arjun Reddy actor makes her Hindi movie debut with this film. The movie hits the big screen on May 13, 2022.
