By surprising his wife on their anniversary, Ranveer Singh, who recently celebrated four years of marriage with Deepika Padukone, gave fans big couple goals. Due to work obligations, Deepika was unable to honour their wedding anniversary on Monday. Ranveer surprised his wife by going to the actor's office and bringing her flowers and chocolates.

Ranveer shared a photo of his visit on his Instagram Stories. At the time, Deepika was pictured working in the office with her team. "When she has to work on your anniversary so you surprise her at her office. PS: Never underestimate the power of flowers and chocolates. Diamonds not needed, buahaha. Take notes and thank me later, gentlemen," read the text that goes with the picture.

After six long years of courtship, the Bollywood power couple got married on November 14, 2018, at Lake Como in Italy. The couple is constantly gushing over one another on social media. Only relatives and close friends attended their two-day wedding celebration. The two were married in a conventional south Indian ceremony, and then a day later, they were also married in a traditional north Indian ceremony.

Ranveer and Deepika first met on the set of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's romantic film Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela. They later co-starred in Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat. After working on the three SLB movies, the couple entered marital bliss. They were last seen together in Kabir Khan's 83, where they played the roles of the real-life couple, Kapil Dev and Romi Dev.

Ranveer came home from the 2022 Marrakech International Film Festival in Morocco the day before his and his wife's wedding anniversary. The actor was honoured with the Etoile d'Or Award at the prestigious event.

Meanwhile, on the work front, the actor will next be seen in Rohit Shetty's Cirkus, which is based on the Shakespearean play The Comedy of Errors.
