Ravanasura: Ravi Teja's action thriller with Sudheer Varma commences shoot

Actor Ravi Teja, nicknamed Mass Maharaja, is among the busiest Telugu actors at the moment, shooting for three films simultaneously. His film with director Sudheer Varma, the action thriller Ravanasura, too was launched on the Sankranthi festival day in the presence of actor Chiranjeevi. The Ravanasura rule officially begins, say the makers as the team commenced its regular shoot today.

Ravanasura is being mounted on a massive budget. The film is bankrolled by Abhishek Nama under Abhishek Pictures and RT Teamworks and is slated to hit theatres on September 30. Ravi Teja essays the role a lawyer in the film, while Sushanth will play a crucial role as Ram. Ravanasura will have as many as five female leads - Anu Emmanuel, Megha Akash, Faria Abdullah, Daksha Nagarkar and Poojitha Ponnada. All the heroines are expected to have equal importance in the movie.

Srikanth Vissa, one of the most promising young writers in Telugu cinema today, has reportedly penned a powerful new-age story for the project. He has penned the story, screenplay and dialogues for the film. Known for his slick, stylish filmmaking, one can expect Sudheer Varma to showcase Ravi Teja in a never-seen-before avatar in the movie. 

Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Sampath Raj, Nitin Mehta (Akhanda fame), Satya, Jaya Prakash and others essay supporting roles in Ravanasura. Several prominent technicians are part of the project, including Arjun Reddy fame Harshavardhan Rameswar and Bheems as music directors while Vijay Kartik Kannan cranks the camera. Srikanth is the editor and DRK is the production designer for the same.
