RRR producer says plans for SS Rajamouli-directed film's OTT premiere remain unchanged

RRR is one of of the biggest upcoming films of this year. Led by Jr NTR and Ram Charan, the SS Rajamouli period action film promises a spectacle like no other, and will soon make its way to cinemas on March 25.

RRR is then slated for a digital release, writes Bollywood Hungama. Zee has secured the digital rights for Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada versions, while Netflix will make the film available to Hindi-speaking audience.

The film's producer Jayantilal Gada has once again confirmed that RRR will have its OTT premiere around 75 to 90 days after the theatrical release. 

"Yes, that plan is very much on. We’ll decide when exactly the film will come on digital after it’s out in theatres," Gada told Bollywood Hungama.

Also featuring Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt in pivotal roles, RRR is based on the lives of two freedom fighters in the early 20th century — Alluri Sitarama Raju (Charan) and Kumram Bheem (NTR Jr). RRR also features British actor Olivia Morris, Irish actor Alison Doody, Hollywood actor Ray Stevenson.
