RRR team expressed its happiness on doing their bit for mother nature through this initiative

Ahead of the release of RRR (Roudram - Ranam - Rudhiram) across five languages on March 25, the film director SS Rajamouli, stars Jr NTR and Ram Charan, after wrapping up an all-India promotional tour in Varanasi, came together to participate in the Green India Challenge in Hyderabad. The trio accompanied by Rajya Sabha MP Joginapalli Santosh Kumar had planted seedlings in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. The politician thanked the celebrs for taking part in the challenge despite their breakneck schedule.
While participating in the activity, filmmaker Rajamouli shared that nature and environment hold a special place in his heart and he will put his best foot forward to involve in the greenery enhancement programme along with the film crew in the times to come. On this occasion, the filmmaker was even reminded of the times when the Baahubali team had also participated in the Green India Challenge.
Jr NTR, cast as Komaram Bheem in RRR, opined that every citizen had to be aware of the many changes occuring in the environment and should bat for the increase of green cover and protect nature in whatever capacity they can. Ram Charan, recollecting the earlier time he participated in the Green India Challenge, stated that he is always excited to plant saplings and conveyed his happiness of being part of this drive amidst RRR promotions. The RRR team praised MP Santosh Kumar for his commendable work through the initiative over the years.
The politician Santosh Kumar felt that cinema was always a powerful medium and the fact that such leading names of the industry coming forward to participate in the Green India Message sends an important message to the society and all those involved with the 24 crafts of filmmaking. Green India Challenge co-founders Karunakar Reddy, Raghava were among others who were part of the event.
