Hopping on from one city to another as part of the extesive promotional campaign to promote RRR, the leading stars and the director of the film including Jr NTR, Ram Charan and director SS Rajamouli, came down to Jaipur to interact with college students after visiting Golden Temple in Amritsar. Earlier they went onto visit Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Statue of Unity in Baroda, which is also the first time that a film team decided to visit the historic monument. They marketed the film a few days ago in Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Dubai too.
The Jaipur experience was particularly memorable for the RRR team, going by the images and videos from the college visit where they had a grand interaction event. The energy and the excitement from the overflowing auditorium were palpable and was a clear indicator of the buzz that the film has generated among youngsters. The promotional campaign by team RRR on the whole has them covering cities including Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Baroda, Delhi, Amritsar, Jaipur, Kolkata, Varanasi and Dubai between March 18 and March 22.
Besides, RRR also happens to be the first Indian film to release in Dolby Cinema. Apart from Ram Charan and Jr. NTR,the film brings together Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris, Rahul Ramakrishna, Shriya Saran, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, and Alison Doody in supporting roles. Jayanti Lal Gada of PEN Studios has acquired the theatrical distribution rights in the North Indian belt besides the electronic rights for all languages. Pen Marudhar will be distributing the film in North India.
