Ranveer Singh and Ryan Reynolds’ ‘bromance’ continues. Recently Ryan spoke of how he wanted to slip into Ranveer’s DMs.

Ryan is currently keeping busy promoting his docu-series, Welcome to Wrexham, along with Rob McElhenney. In an interview with India Today, the duo spoke of how their association for the series had started with a DM. When asked which Bollywood stars’ DMs they would slip into, Rob said that he didn't want to answer the question as he knew his wife Kaitlin Olson would be watching the interview. But Ryan, however, had no qualms in saying Ranveer Singh’s name. According to the report, Ryan also added that he was ‘pretty sure’ everyone else in India would echo his sentiments as well.

Ryan’s answer prompted Rob to say that Ranveer would be the ‘Ryan Reynolds of India’. Humble as ever, Ryan replied “"I don't know if I am Ranveer Singh. I am trying to be".

In 2018, after dubbing for his part in the Hindi version of Deadpool 2, Ranveer had tweeted ‘Astonishing how effectively I’ve managed to out-crass my Canadian counterpart @VancityReynolds. Never realised how fulfilling & rewarding foul Hindi language can be! #Deadpool2Hindi”, tagging Ryan. Ryan had a hilarious response to the tweet, replying ‘Well if I tried to curse in Hindi, pretty sure there would be an international incident’.

Meanwhile, Welcome to Wrexham documents the journey of Welsh football club Wrexham A.F.C., which was bought by Ryan and Rob in 2021. The takeover had resulted in a huge surge in the club’s popularity, and the club had risen the ranks in the national league after the takeover as well. The documentary series, which Rob and Ryan also narrate, will be available for streaming on Disney+Hotstar.

Ranveer's upcoming releases include Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus and Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.
