Saakini Daakini Teaser Talk: Regina Cassandra And Nivetha Thomas Are Police Trainees

Regina Cassandra’s Damini and Nivetha Thomas’ Shalini are two police aspirants who attend training at the Telangana State Police Academy in their upcoming film Saakini Daakini. The teaser suggests a mix of comedy and action themes. In the initial sequences, we get to see how Shalini tries to shoot the target, but instead hurts her shoulders and misses the shot every time. Damini, too, shoots everywhere but the bull’s eye.

While Shalini is made fun of for her clumsiness, Damini, on the other hand, is a bit of a neat freak. So, what happens when this unlikely duo is put together? It’s a sure shot recipe for hilarity. The teaser also suggests some power-packed action, as Damini and Shalini team up and fight crooks on the streets.  This comedy actioner is scheduled to hit the theatres on September 16.

Saakini Daakini is directed by Sudheer Varma and is a remake of the 2017 film Midnight Runners. The film is bankrolled by the producers of Oh Baby – D. Suresh Babu, Sunitha Tati, and Hyunwoo Thomas Kim. While Richard Prasad has cranked the camera, Mikey McCleary has scored the music and Viplav Nyshadam has edited the film.
