Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, starring Salman Khan, Pooja Hegde, Aayush Sharma, and Venkatesh, is going to begin filming sooner than expected this month. Speaking about it, a source told Mid Day that the film's team was originally scheduled to start shooting around mid-May, but the project is now going on floors on May 10.

The team has been putting in extra hours to ensure everything is ready in time for the big day, so look tests for the shoot have been going on for the past three weeks. The film's crew is expected to start shooting on a massive set in Mumbai's Filmcity.

The film's director, Farhad Samji, had earlier spoken about the title of the film, stating that there's a joke in the industry that Salman's film would either debut on Eid or Diwali, and that's how they got their film title. It's a huge festival film, so they are hoping to start shooting soon. I think Sajid Nadiadwala deserves credit for bringing this pairing together, added Samji.

The filmmaker went on to say that what they serve the audience on a plate now that Salman has done it all, from romance to action and comedy, is up to the audience. Thus, that explains the new casting and demeanor.

Meanwhile, as per the latest reports, Shehnaaz Gill is scheduled to make her Bollywood debut with Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. It's being said that the former Bigg Boss contestant may have been offered a huge sum by Salman. The superstar is said to have given Shehnaaz the freedom to determine her own cost. It's thought that he approached her to be a part of the film since he liked her and that he even let her charge whatever she wanted.

During her Bigg Boss days, Shehnaaz's innocence had always attracted Salman, and how she dealt with the death of her partner, Sidharth Shukla struck everyone's heart. Shehnaaz is set to star alongside Aayush Sharma in the Salman Khan-directed film, in which she will play an innocent and timid girl next door.
