VIRAL: Salman Khan's stage performance on 'Jumme Ki Raat' with Pooja Hegde criticised by social media users

A video of Salman Khan dancing to the song 'Jumme Ki Raat' from Kick has surfaced on the internet. The actor was performing along with Pooja Hegde at a Da-bangg tour concert in Dubai.

Reddit users noticed that Khan tries to replicate a step from the original music video where he lifts co-actor Jacqueline Fernandez's coat with his teeth. In the video, Khan, in a supposed attempt at jest, is seen examining Hegde's tasselled dress and then grabbing on to one tassel with his teeth.

The video was the subject of discussion on a Reddit thread r/BollyBlindsNGossip. 

According to Hindustan Times, a user said: "He was trying to do the famous step that was with his teeth but the joke was that this dress was short. Poor taste for sure but I am pretty sure it was staged since it's a really really popular step."

One comment read: "That’s part of this song-dance routine. It looked gross. I agree about that." 

Another user said, "Yeah, he pulls Jacqeuline's dress in the music video but not very appropriate here."

Times of India had reported that Khan returned to Mumbai from the tour on February 26. Also part of the tour were Sonakshi Sinha, Aayush Sharma, Guru Randhawa, Disha Patani, Maniesh Paul and Saiee Manjrekar.
