Sasikumar, Sathyasiva's film Common Man undergoes title change; here's the new title of the revenge flick

The makers of Common Man, starring Sasikumar in the lead, announced the project a few months ago, and later unveiled its first look and a promo video. The team has now revealed that they have decided to go ahead with a new title owing to a dispute. 

Naan Mirugamai Mara is the updated title of the movie which has been helmed by Sathyasiva. A release was issued by TD Rajha and DR Sanjay Kumar who have bankrolled the movie under Chendur Film International. Hari Priya and Vikranth among others essay important roles in the movie.

A promo video from the film which was released earlier this year featuring Vikranth hacking someone to death had garnered attention among cinephiles. Sasikumar will be seen essaying a sound engineer in the project which is billed as a revenge thriller. 

Director Sathyasiva of Kazhugu fame had earlier revealed that the film's script was completed during the first wave of the lockdown. Ghibran is the music director of Naan Mirugamai Mara which has no songs, while T Uday Kumar is in charge of sound mixing. Srikanth NB and Raja Bhattacharjee were roped in to handle editing and cinematography respectively for the film.

Sasikumar, who was last seen in Kombu Vatcha Singamda which was released earlier this year, has Pagaivanuku Arulvai, Naa Naa and Kaari in his kitty. A few weeks ago, on the 14th anniversary of his debut directorial flick Subramaniapuram, he took to his Twitter page to announce that he might wield the megaphone again after a long hiatus of 12 years.

Easan, his sophomore directorial venture, was released in 2010. Fans of the actor-filmmaker are now eagerly awaiting an update on his third directorial film.
