Satyaprem Ki Katha box office performance day 2: Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani’s film sees a drop

Satyaprem Ki Katha, starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani, witnessed a little decline in its box office collection on Friday after earning Rs 9.25 crore on its initial day of release on Thursday, which also happened to be Eid.

Satyaprem Ki Katha, directed by Sameer Vidwans, made about Rs 7.19 crore on day two, bringing its total two-day profits to almost Rs 17 crore, according to industry tracker Sacnilk. The tracking website projects a Saturday collection of roughly Rs 8 crore and a Sunday collection of more.

In an Instagram story on Friday, Kiara Advani also expressed her gratitude to her fans for their support for SatyaPrem Ki Katha. She wrote: “Today what has truly touched me is seeing my fans rejoice with all the reviews coming my way…they have rooted for me since the very beginning and seeing them feel a sense of victory has made me really emotional, I owed it to them, it has taken me some time, but here we are finally! It is their success. This love is genuinely magical. #JustGreatful.”

After Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Kiara and Kartik Aaryan have worked together again in SatyaPrem Ki Katha. The movie also has Supriya Pathak Kapur, Gajraj Rao, Siddharth Randheria, Anooradha Patel, Rajpal Yadav, Nirrmite Saawaant, and Shikha Talsania in significant parts in addition to Kiara and Kartik. Namah Pictures and Nadiiadwala Grandson Entertainment collaborated to produce the film.
