Satyaprem ki Katha: Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani's musical love story gets a June 2023 release!

Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani are reuniting on screen for the second time after their mighty successful collaboration in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. It was earlier announced not very long ago that the two will star together in a film titled Satyaprem ki Katha, billed as an exciting musical love story helmed by Marathi filmmaker Sameer Vidwans.

In the latest update, the makers of the film have announced that Satyaprem ki Katha will release in theatres on June 29, 2023. Sajid Nadiadwala’s Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, which produces the film along with Namah Pictures, took to social media earlier today to make the exciting announcement.

Kartik Aaryan revealed that he would be working for the second time with Kiara Advani on the latter’s birthday on July 31. The Pyaar ka Punchnama actor wished his co-star a very happy birthday as he shared the first look of the film and announced the title of the very exciting collaboration.

According to the latest reports, a source close to the film’s team has confirmed that the shooting of Satyaprem ki Katha began very recently and that it is well on course to enthral the audiences on June 29 of 2023. The same film was earlier named Satyanarayan ki Katha.

Writer-director Sameer Vidwans makes his Hindi debut with this upcoming love story. Having made earned a big name in the Marathi film industry with films like Double Seat, Mala Kahich Problem Nahi, and the 2019 biographical drama Anandi Gopal (based on the life of India’s first female doctor of western medicine, Anandibai Gopalrao Joshi), Sameer Vidwans is known for his penchant for delicate subject matters and lending them a humorous touch.

Anandi Gopal won the award for Best Film on Other Social Issues at the 67th National Film Awards.

Coming back to Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani, both the two rising stars currently boast of an exciting lineup of projects with the former busy working on films like Freddie, Shehzada, and an untitled Kabir Khan film. Kiara, on the other hand, makes a return to Telugu cinema with the upcoming Ram Charan – Shankar collaboration (tentatively titled as RC15).
