Team Scream are back to bring out the fifth movie in the Scream installment. With that, fear and anticipation has risen to the maximum. Let's have a look at what the cast had to say in a video released by the makers of the upcoming slasher movie.
Courteney Cox assures the fans that the new Ghostface in the upcoming Scream movie is ‘scary as ever’, piquing the curiosity of fans who want to know just how scary the masked killer could be. She also spoke about how shocking incidents from the movie were to her.
Executive producer Kevin Williamson mentioned that the new installment had to be made, for there was a special story to let the viewers know. This story connects the characters and storylines of the initial Scream movies to the new one.
Melissa Barrera, who plays the role of Sam Carpenter (and the latest target of Ghostface), spoke about her character approaching Dewey Riley (played by David Arquette) to get his help in saving her from the masked killer.
The original characters in the Scream franchise had moved on from the terrors of the Woodsbro killings. However, thanks to the new Ghostface back in town, they’re unable to do so and are made to get back together to put an end to the terror once and for all.
Dylan Minnete (of 13 Reasons Why fame) talks about how the new Scream movie brings in new energy while still managing to safeguard the essence of what made the franchise special in the first place.
