Selvaraghavan surprises fans by releasing a new poster featuring Dhanush from Naane Varuven

Naane Varuven is one of the most-expected films Dhanush has in his kitty. The movie which has his brother Selvaraghavan at its helm is being produced by Kalaippuli S Thanu under V Creations. A while ago, it was heard that the project went on floors in Ooty and that the actor has begun getting trained in archery. 

Dhanush will be seen playing dual roles for the first time in the movie which marks the reunion of him and Selva after Mayakkam Enna. Indhuja essays the female lead in the film which will have music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Selva has now surprised movie lovers by revealing a new poster from Naane Varuven. It has Dhanush sitting on a chair with his legs crossed and enjoying a cigarette. The actor who is seen sporting a jacket over his shirt has his eyes closed and appears calm and composed in the poster which has a violet tone to it.

The poster also mentions that the project is in its final stage of shooting. Om Prakash and RK Vijai Murugan are handling cinematography and art direction respectively for the film which has editing by Bhuvan Srinivasan. Dhilip Subbarayan is choreographing action scenes for the movie while Kalyan is composing dance movements.

Dhanush was last seen in Maaran which had a direct release on Disney+ Hotstar recently. His last three movies had skipped theatrical releases; Mari Selvaraj's Karnan (streaming on Amazon Prime Video) was the last movie of his which was released in movie halls.

Selvaraghavan, on the other hand, last directed Nenjam Marappathillai (streaming on Zee5), which starred SJ Suryah in lead role. Saani Kaayidham and Beast, in which the filmmaker acted in prominent roles, are getting ready for release in April.
