The whole world witnessed how thousands of people assembled outside Shah Rukh Khan's house, Mannat on the eve of his 57th birthday. The superstar rang in his birthday with the massive crowd, and fans couldn't get enough of him. Not just on birthdays, a crowd is always seen at the gate of Mannat, and people pose for photos, hoping that they might see him, or just feel his presence by looking at his magnificent abode.
Shah Rukh talked for a long time at the Sharjah International Book Fair, which just ended, about how much his fans love him without expecting anything in return. The superstar stated, "This love is a little beyond my work; this has crossed the boundaries of, 'Oh, we like him for having done this film!' There's a personal attachment there. Here are people who may never have seen me live, who may never meet me, but who have this strange love and connection with me."
SRK got a little emotional and further said, "There are days when I am very depressed and very tired, and I just need to go outside my house and know there are people who are loving me absolutely without requiring anything in return. It is selfless. It's beautiful."
Talking about how fans motivate him, the Raees star shared, "There's a sea of people, and I know, my god, this is good. I am going to work harder, and I will be better. I will make sure that I can give back this happiness that they give me."
Shah Rukh was also heard saying, "The best part about being a fan of mine or liking me is that, with other actors, you have to work really hard to be like them, (but) with me, all you need to do is... spread your arms."
The superstar made fans at the event go weak in their knees as he said his iconic dialogues from the films, including Om Shanti Om, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Baazigar, and more.
