Shah Rukh Khan to return to Mumbai set of director Atlee's film next week

Shah Rukh Khan will reportedly resume shooting for his film, said to be titled Lion, with director Atlee in Mumbai from next week. 

According to a Times of India report, the actor had taken some time off work due to family reasons but will soon commence work. He's also a part of Rajkumar Hirani's next, and while the setting up of the set for that film is in progress, he will reportedly spend his time on Atlee's directorial.

Khan is also set to fly to Spain to shoot for Pathan with co-actors Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in March, which was stalled after his son Aryan Khan's arrest in a drugs case. Following this, he will continue filming with Atlee.

The Khan-Atlee film is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, went on floors in September last year, and also stars Nayanthara in a pivotal role. Times of India writes that the film is an action entertainer, which could focus on a father-son relationship.

Joining Khan in the cast are comedian Sunil Grover, and Sanya Malhotra.
