Shilpa Shetty is back on social media, unveils her first look as superwoman from Nikamma

Shilpa Shetty Kundra recently announced her departure from social media, heartbreaking her followers, and promised to return only in a new avatar! What's this? The stunning star announced her comeback to social media with a brand new superwoman avatar on Instagram.

In her upcoming film Nikamma, directed by Sabbir Khan, Shilpa will play the character of Avni, who appears to be completely different from the characters she has played previously. With this head honcho superwoman outfit, it appears that there is another special look in the trailer that will be shown.

Nikamma also marks her comeback to the big screen after a 14-year absence. We're sure everyone is looking forward to seeing Shilpa in a fresh role in the flick.

Nikamma's trailer will premiere on May 17, 2022. Abhimanyu and Shirley Setia have key roles in the film, and they are already being hailed as the on-screen couple to watch out for.

Nikamma, directed by Sabbir Khan and produced by Sony Pictures International Productions and Sabbir Khan Films, will be released in theatres on June 17, 2022.

Shilpa was last seen in Hungama 2, directed by Priyadarshan. The film featured Meezaan Jaaferi, Paresh Rawal, and Pranitha Subhash in the lead roles. It was a direct-to-OTT release on Disney+ Hotstar. 

The actor has become a household name with her stint on television by judging several reality shows.

Moreover, Shilpa is set to make her web series debut with Rohit Shetty's OTT debut vehicle, Indian Police Force. The series, which went on floors a few days back, features Sidharth Malhotra in the lead role, also making his OTT series debut. Moreover, Vivek Oberoi is a part of the most anticipated series. The web show will premiere on Amazon Prime Video, and the makers are yet to announce the streaming date.
