The film features Shivarajkumar, Dhananjaya, Vasishta N Simha, Manvita Kamath and Bhavana
The Tagaru mania, it seems, just refuses to diminish, growing stronger with each passing year, so much so that Century Star Shivarajkumar’s film is returning for a fourth round in Bengaluru cinema halls. The Suri directorial, was a massive hit when it released in 2018, thanks to the taut script, characterizations and hit songs like Tagaru Banthu Tagaru and Mental Ho Java, which continue to be chartbusters. This Friday (August 3) ACP Shiva will be back in theatres to take on the underworld. The film also starred Dhananjaya as Daali, a character name that has stuck with the actor, as well as Vasishta N Simha, Manvita Kamath and Bhavana.
Owing to the film’s popularity and the love it has gained already, the release seems like a natural step in that direction. The film also marks the second collaboration between Shivarajkumar and filmmaker Duniya Suri- with the two having worked on ‘Kaddipudi’ prior to this. The film brought in a lot of visual and realistic portrayal of Bengaluru’s crime, goonda world and with the stellar performances of the actors, the movie was lauded by many for being action packed with grit and great deal of intensity. In a quintessential Duniya Suri way, the story unfolds in one corner and culminates in the other with some insane amount of madness infused in between. The movie is celebrating 3 years of its release and we are all here for the celebration.
