Sidharth Shukla's family has released a statement expressing their gratitude to people who showered immense love and respect on the late actor. The Shukla family also thanked Mumbai Police for their 'compassion and sensitivity' during the tough time and they requested privacy to grieve.
The statement read as "Heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has been a part of Sidharth's journey and showered him with unconditional love. It definitely doesn't end here as he now resides in our hearts forever!"
On valuing his privacy, the late actor's family further stated that Sidharth valued his privacy, thus they requested people to allow the family the privacy to grieve. They thanked Mumbai Police by writing that they have been like a shield, protecting and standing by them every minute of the day.
The Shukla family concluded by writing, "Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers."
Earlier, Sidharth's PR team also released a statement on his untimely demise. It read as "All of you have heard the shocking news, we are as much in shock as you all are. We have a request, we really want all of you to respect and stand with us during these tough times. As Sidharth’s PR team we humbly request the media to draw a line and give his family and loved one's space and let them grieve. We are all in pain! We are as shocked as you are! All of us knew Sidharth was a private person, so please respect his privacy, his family’s privacy. Please pray for His Soul To Rest in Peace."
As per reports, Sidharth died of cardiac arrest on September 4, 2021, at the age of 40. The actor is survived by his mother and his two sisters. In the past few weeks, he visited the sets of Bigg Boss OTT and Dance Deewane Season 3 with Shehnaaz Gill.
