There has been speculation earlier that Silambarasan and Sudha Kongara would join hands for a movie much before the latter's Suriya-starrer Soorarai Pottru (streaming on Amazon Prime Video) had a direct-to-OTT release. The former has now made a comeback with Venkat Prabhu's blockbuster film Maanaadu (streaming on SonyLIV).

It is now heard that the two will start working together as soon as they complete their current projects. The director had two releases last year apart from Soorarai Pottru which went on to receive critical acclaim and appreciation from movie lovers. The anthologies Putham Pudhu Kaalai (streaming on Amazon Prime Video) and Paava Kadhaigal (streaming on Netflix) were other two projects she had helmed last year.

Meanwhie, there has been news doing the rounds that Suriya and GV Prakash, the protagonist and music director of Soorarai Pottru respectively, will be doing another movie with Sudha. The director is also said to be collaborating with Ajith for a project, but an official announcement about these projects are yet to be made.

According to a source, she is likely to begin the movie with Silambarasan as soon as he finishes Gautham Menon's Vendhu Thaninthathu Kaadu and Gokul's Corona Kumar. He has Narthan's Pathu Thala and UR Jameel's Maha as well up for release.

Both the actor and director are said to have discussed a script and the former, we hear, has okayed it. The buzz is that Yuvan Shankar Raja will compose music for the project which is being planned as a bilingual flick.

Earlier, Sudha was said to be in the list of directors who are the frontrunners to helm Vijay's 65th movie. Later, the movie titled Beast has Nelson Dilipkumar coming on board as its director.
