The trailer of Venkat Prabhu's Maanaadu, which was unveiled almost a week ago by AR Murugadoss, Nivin Pauly, Nani and Rakshit Shetty, was received well by movie buffs and has clocked 10M views till now on YouTube. Silambarasan, who plays the lead in the political thriller, took to Twitter to provide a glimpse into his dubbing session. The 50-second video has Venkat, who is seen along with his team, giving instructions to the actor.

The latter is seen uttering the line 'your time starts now' which is there in the trailer. Later, he is seen saying the popular line vandhan.. suttan.. sethaan.. repeat-u a few times, which SJ Suryah utters in the trailer. He imitates Suryah's voice modulation and expressions, much to the delight of his fans. Suryah, who will be seen in the role of a cop in the film, was all praise for Silambarasan in the reply tweet he posted.

The movie will hit the screens on November, on the occasion of Deepavali, and will take on Rajinikanth's Annaatthe and Vishal-Arya's Enemy at the box office. Kalyani Priyadarshan plays the female lead in the film which has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and editing by Praveen KL. Produced by Richard M Nathan, Maanaadu has Richard M Nathan handling cinematography. It is heard that the film's second single will release soon.

Meherezylaa, its first single, a melody, which was released a few months ago, had lyrics by Madhan Karky and crooned by Yuvan Shankar Raja, Rizwan and Raja Bhavatharini. Though there are speculation doing the rounds on the movie streaming on Amazon Prime Video four week after its theatrical release, an official confirmation is awaited from its makers. The team of Maanaadu had earlier planned to release the movie in September or October, but decided to opt November as only Annaatthe was announced as Deepavali release then.
