The shoot for Sivakarthikeyan's upcoming release, Prince has been wrapped up. The team shared a picture from the wrap-up on their social media page to announce the completion. Prince is directed by Anudeep KV of Jathi Ratnalu fame. Ukraine model-turned-actress Maria Ryaboshapka, plays the leading lady in it and the film marks her debut in the Tamil film industry. The supporting star cast includes Sathyaraj and Premgi Amaren.

Maria Ryaboshapka had taken to her social media handle to declare that she enjoyed working in the film. Talking about her experience, working in the film, she wrote, "I've been in India for 4 months now and have been working on the #SK20 project with @Siva_Kartikeyan. I am very pleased to work with this team and I am waiting for the movie premiere in October at the Diwali festival (sic)."

The buzz is that Sivakarthikeyan plays a teacher in the film, who falls in love with a foreigner. The film, which is bilingual, is billed as a romantic comedy. Music for the film is by Thaman and interestingly, this is the first time that Thaman is scoring music for a Sivakarthikeyan film. While Paramahamsa is handling the cinematography, Praveen KL is in charge of the editing.

The film is produced by Suniel Narang, D Suresh Babu and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao and is made under the banners of Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP, Suresh Productions and Shanthi Talkies. The film, which will be presented by Sonali Narang, is slated for a Diwali release.

Sivakarthikeyan is expected to join the sets of Madonne Ashwin's Maveeran soon after he completes the post production of Prince. Music for Maveeran, which is also announced as bilingual, is composed by Bharath Shankar. Cinematography is by Vidhu Ayyanna and editing is by Philomin Raj. The film is bankrolled by Arun Viswa of Shanthi Talkies.
