James Gunn’s new era in DC has begun with back-to-back flops. The upcoming films Blue Beetle and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, scheduled for a 2023 release, are expected to suffer at the box office as a result of Gunn announcing that the cinematic universe is being rebooted with his 2025 film Superman: Legacy. It is now being reported that Warner Bros are keen on salvaging James Wan’s Aquaman sequel, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.
