The Family Man actor was last seen in the sports drama A1 Express
Actor, producer Sundeep Kishan, who made his digital debut with the first season of Raj and DK's blockbuster show The Family Man, is testing waters on OTT yet again. His next film, an action-comedy, titled Gully Rowdy, directed by G Nageswara Reddy (who had earlier collaborated with the actor for Tenali Ramakrishna B.A B.L) is expected to land on a leading streaming platform shortly. Neha Shetty is paired alongside Sundeep Kishan in this project.
Produced by MVV Sathyanarayana, Gully Rowdy is a story of a small-time goon who doesn't take himself seriously and often lands in trouble with the cops for trivial reasons. The hilarious teaser hints that the audiences are in for a rip-roaring laughter ride. Popular actors Rajendra Prasad, Bobby Simha play police officers in this film whose supporting cast includes Posani Krishna Murali, Vennela Kishore, Mime Gopi and Viva Harsha.
Sai Kartheek composes the tunes for the film set in a Vizag backdrop. The team is negotiating with several OTT platforms to seal the deal and an official announcement about the project will be out soon. Sundeep Kishan's next projects after Gully Rowdy include an untitled film with filmmaker VI Anand (who had worked together on Tiger in the past) and the sequel to his Tamil film Maayavan. The actor is also producing a comedy, Vivaha Bhojanambu, which completed its shoot a few months ago.
