Suniel Shetty to make digital debut with noir action thriller Invisible Woman

Suniel Shetty is the latest Bollywood star making their way into the OTT space. The actor will be seen in a web series, Invisible Woman.

Bankrolled by the film arm of Saregama India — Yoodlee Films, the makers announced that the show is a noir action thriller series. Production on the project will begin soon. 

Esha Gupta will also star in the series. Invisible Woman will be helmed by popular Tamil director Rajesh M Selva. He has previously directed action thrillers like Kamal Haasan’s Thoongaa Vanam and Vikram’s Kadaram Kondan.

Shetty, in a statement quoted by Times of India, said that a web series “must have something to set it apart from the barrage of narratives that already exist,” which is why the script of Invisible Woman captured his attention. 

Shetty, who is most known for movies such as Mohra, Dhadkan, and the Hera Pheri movies, is awaiting the release of the Malayalam magnum opus Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham, starring Mohanlal and directed by Priyadarshan. 

He will also be seen in the Telugu sports drama Ghani starring Varun Tej and Milan Luthria’s romantic drama Tadap, which also marks the debut of his son, Ahan Shetty.
