Sunny Deol opens up on hiking his fee to Rs 50 crore post Gadar 2 success: I know my worth

Sunny Deol starrer Gadar 2 is having a record-breaking innings in theatres. With an exceptional box office collection of Rs 16.10 crore even on its third Sunday, the period action-drama film has minted over Rs 450 crore in total. This has constructed multiple fan theories and created numerous headlines about the Bollywood star. Reportedly, post the Gadar 2 success, Deol is set to charge Rs 50 crore for each of his upcoming films. Talking about the same, the actor mentioned that financial matters should be discussed publicly.

In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Deol shared that matters involving money are personal and should not be shared with others. He further added that currently, he is just enjoying the success of his blockbuster film and hasn't given any thought to the signing amount for his forthcoming projects. 

The Gadar star also mentioned that he knows his worth and doesn't settle for less than what he deserves, however, his ultimate wealth is his family. 

Even after almost three weeks of release, Gadar 2 is shining like a bright star among all the recent releases. On the other hand, in its opening weekend including three days, the Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Dream Girl 2 churned out Rs 40 crores at the box office, which was Gadar 2 opening day collection. However, the latest comedy-drama movie is showing an upward trend in theatres.

Directed by Anil Sharma, Gadar 2 also stars Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma in pivotal roles. Post its theatrical release, the period drama flick is scheduled to have an OTT release only on ZEE5.
