Suriya finds Jai Bhim one of the most challenging films of his career

South’s superstar Suriya has been everyone’s favourite for decades as he never fails to mesmerise his audiences. Now, with the upcoming courtroom drama Jai Bhim which is hardly days away from its release, he is making headlines once again. In a recent interaction with IANS, he opened up about his new venture and its challenges. 

The actor revealed that Jai Bhim was one of the most challenging films out of his entire career. The film neither falls into his comfort zone nor fits the pattern of his previous films. The storytelling, actors, emotion and the whole pattern is unique according to him. He also added that it will be intense and will create an impact on everyone. He thinks that the film will be recalled for a long time, which definitely is his huge responsibility.

Written and directed by Tha. Se. Gnanavel, Jai Bhim is a thoughtful story based on true events that took place during the 90s in Tamil Nadu. Besides Suriya, the movie features Prakash Raj, Rao Ramesh, Rajisha Vijatan, Manikandan and Liji Mol in vital roles. Under the banner of 2D Entertainment, the movie is jointly produced by Jyotika and Suriya with Rajsekar Karpoorasundarapandian as co-producer.

Further talking about his career, Suriya thanked his fans for being his side during ups and downs. In his 24 years of cinema life, the trust and belief everyone put on him have been the fuel that kept him working hard every time, he acknowledged. He also wants to be rewarded with good films in return for the beautiful relationship between his fans and him.

Meanwhile, Jai Bhim is slated to be released on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video on November 2, 2021, prior to the Diwali festival.
