Switching between two different characters has been quite intense: Sobhita Dhulipala on her upcoming projects

Sobhita Dhulipala is one of the most talented actresses in the country today and one of the many break out OTT stars as well. While she made her acting debut with Anurag Kashyap's Raman Raghav 2.0 in the year 2016, she shot to fame with her portrayal of an ambitious wedding planner - Tara Khanna in the hit 2019 web series Made in Heaven on Amazon Prime Video. Since then, there's been no looking back for her. She has given incredible performances in Bard of Blood and Ghost Stories among other projects that she's been a part of. 

Sobhita has had a knack of picking varying characters be it for films or OTTs. From the past few months, the actress has been neck deep in work, while shooting for her upcoming releases. Speaking about her busy schedule and shooting for two completely different roles back to back without any break, Sobhita said in a statement, "Switching between two completely different characters and worlds without any off days for the last few months has been quite intense and all-consuming but I feel greatly motivated though".

While her performance in Made in Heaven has been widely appreciated by the audience and the critics alike, the actress is extremely motivated to deliver more such acts for her fans. She added saying, "I’m beaming with excitement and cannot wait for the releases! This year is going to be special, fingers crossed."

On the work front, Sobhita has a number of interesting projects up her sleeve. Some of the most anticipated ones include The Night Manager remake, Sitara, Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan in Tamil, Adivi Sesh's Major in Telugu and the Hollywood porject titled Monkey Man which is directed by Dev Patel. While fans have been waiting for an update on Season two of Made in Heaven, the makers haven't announced its release date yet. 

In an earlier interview with TOI, the actress had spoken about what can be expected from Made in Heaven 2 saying, "Season 2 is like at least a good few levels up, in terms of plot and cast. There are some big names associated with the second season." She added that it is likely to come out soon but she doesn't know when. She further said that it's going to be special whenever it finally releases.
