Taapsee Pannu: I'm not a great actor, pick my directors carefully

Taapsee Pannu and Tahir Raj Bhasin went live with comedian Rohan Joshi, actresses Neha Dhupia, Kusha Kapila, Maheep Kapoor, actor Cyrus Sahukar and director Aakash Bhatia. At the event, hosted by Rohan, Aakash went on to state that Taapsee has probably outdone Tahir in the movie. The director, however, later clarified that he was simply joking and that Tahir is at par with Taapsee.

When Aakash joined Taapsee and Tahir at the event, a question was directed towards him. The question was - "Who is a better actor among Taapsee and Tahir?" To that, Aakash said that Taapsee was a part of Looop Lapeta even before he was looped into the project.

Meanwhile, Taapsee said that she is one of those actors who believes in picking good directors. "I'm not a great actor so I submit to my director completely," she stated at the event, adding that she doesn't even look at the monitors while shooting. The actor responded to a question about how does she prepare for her characters.

The actress, however, had a complain for Aakash. She said that he made her run a lot in Goa. "He made me run everywhere except the beaches of Goa," she added.

Meanwhile, Tahir had a complaint for Aakash's poodle (doggo). He stated that the poodle would come late to sets. The actor then explained how it affected the film. "Our director would take approval from his poodle, who would always be late," Tahir shared. The actor mentioned that the poodle always had poodle shoes on and the director would look at him after a scene to see if he approves of it.

What is the one thing that Taapsee finds cool in Tahir? The actress said that good sense of humour helps. She later clarified that she doesn't often praise people for a sense of humour but Tahir deserved it.

Known for her bold personality, Taapsee also revealed that nobody comes to her for solutions. She said that she often asks people to fight for themselves which doesn't always work out and thus, people don't often approach her when they need a solution.

Looop Lapeta features Taapsee in the role of Savi. Tahir Raj Bhasin plays the role of her boyfriend. Savi has to rescue him from a dangerous situation, while racing against time. The dramedy is slated to release on Netflix on February 4.
