Backlash against Saif Ali Khan starrer web series Tandav refuses to die down. After multiple FIRs and an ongoing probe into the allegations that claim that the show hurt religious sentiments the Maharashtra Karni Sena has now said that an apology from the makers and the changes made to the show are not enough. This comes days after a team of police officials arrived from U.P. to Mumbai to investigate the charges against the show made in an F.I.R filed in Lucknow.  Maharashtra Karni Sena chief Ajay Sengar in his statement against the show has offered a reward for silting tongues of those who bad mouth Hindu deities in Tandav.  “We will give Rs 1 crore reward to anyone who slits tongue of those who insults Hindu gods and goddesses in the web-series,” he said in a statement. Ali Abbas Zafar helmed Tandav which arrived on Amazon Prime Video on January 15 soon landed in controversy for carrying references to Hindu deities in the political drama at have allegedly hurt the members of the community. The filmmaker who made his OTT debut with the show issues an apology and later even announced that they are retracting the controversial scenes from the show. Apart from Saif Ali Khan, Tandav also stars Dimple Kapadia, Sunil Grover, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Gauahar Khan, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Kritika Kamra and several others.
