Premieres that allow you to watch a film before the rest of the world does can be exciting if you’ve been looking forward to a certain film or actor. It also gives you bragging rights for a few hours at least. While the media and celebrities almost always have such access, it is not often that the privilege is extended to the ticket-buying audience and when it is, more often than not, the opportunity is lapped up by film lovers. Next in line to give audiences this is the team of the suspense thriller Tatsama Tadbhava, which is releasing in theatres on September 15. A KRG Studios release in Karnataka, the film led by Meghana Raj Sarja is getting a few paid premieres in Bengaluru and Mysuru on September 14, bookings for which are now open.
Tatsama Tadbhava is a film that has been produced by filmmaker Pannaga Bharana, as a culmination of a long-term dream to make films with his pals. The late Chiranjeevi Sarja was one of those that Pannaga wanted to collaborate with, but when his pal passed away, it instead became an opportunity to bring his young widow and fellow actor Meghana Raj Sarja back to the big screen. When Pannaga was then presented with the script of a thriller by debutant filmmaker Vishal Atreya, it struck him immediately that it would be apt for Meghana. Once she was onboard, it became about finding an actor to play a similarly important role – that of a shrewd police officer, who is as realistic as possible. Pannaga cast Prajwal Devaraj, who has a certain image in films and got him to do a role that was nothing like anything he had done before.

The film follows Meghana’s character Arika and the case of her missing husband, which is then investigated by Prajwal, who soon finds that she is the prime suspect in the case. With music by Vasuki Vaibhav, Tatsama Tadbhava also stars Arvinnd Iyer, Rajshri Ponnappa, Balaji Manohar, Girija Lokesh, Shruthi and TS Nagabharana, among others.
