As Rajinikanth fans have geared up for Annaatthe's FDFS, director Siva talks about his experience working for the film

Fans of Rajinikanth have kept their fingers crossed as the first show of Annaatthe will begin on Thursday morning across the world. Directed by Siva, the movie stars Meena, Khushbu, Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh, Prakash Raj, Jagapathi Babu, Sathish, Soori and Abhimanyu Singh among others.
Imman has composed music for the film which has editing by Ruben and cinematography by Vetri Palanisamy. A Rajinikanth movie is releasing after an year and 10 months. AR Murugadoss's Darbar (streaming on Amazon Prime Video) was the star's last outing which hit the screens in January 2020.
Sun Pictures, which has bankrolled the project, released a video in which Siva has spoken about the experience working for the most anticipated Tamil film of the year.
He said, "This is director Siva here. Working for Annaatthe has been a wonderful experience, thanks to the production house which is known for their passion for filmmaking and infrastructure. You can gauge Kalanithi Maran's (producer) interest in filmmaking with the way he listens to script. After listening to Annaatthe's story, he said the movie is going to be a sure shot blockbuster. I will always be indebted to him for the confidence he instilled in me."
Siva also added that Imman's magial music will be one of the highlights of the film. He said, "Every film has a theme music. But in Annaatthe, there are three theme music; each one is different from each other. The only similarity is the excitement all of them provides."
He became excited like never before while talking about Rajinikanth. He said that the star liked the film and was all praise for him. "After watching the movie, Thalaivar came to me, hugged me tightly and and kissed on my cheeks. I'm sure the film will give complete satisfaction to the viewers as well," he concluded.
