All The Family Man fans received a surprise at the end of The Family Man 2. They got to know the plot of the third season of the show.

The Family Man 2, which was released in the midst of COVID-19 lockdown, has now revealed that The Family Man 3 will have the same setting. That’s right, The Family Man 3 is based in the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Apart from that, it also released another important detail - that the show’s setting would shift to Northeast soon. Since Mission Zulfiqaar, headed by Darshan Kumaar’s character Major Sameer, was a failure twice, it will be interesting to see what the third season will bring. One thing is for sure - that this time the mission is Project Guan Yu, rather than Mission Zulfiqaar.

The Family Man focuses on the story of Srikant Tiwari, played by Manoj Bajpayee. He is the ultimate family man, who also is an officer with the TASC, responsible for dealing with the terrorists.

The Family Man 2 had another cliffhanger - about his family life. Sri’s wife Suchi (Priyamani) has cheated on him with her colleague Aravind (Sharad Kelkar) and has been anxious to discuss it with Sri. With The Family Man 2, she finally tells him that she has something important to discuss.

Thus, it would be interesting to see if Srikant can deal with the matter at hand while his personal life may be affected to the extent that he may get a divorce and have to fight for the alimony of his kids.

The Family Man also features Sharib Hashmi and Shreya Dhanwanthry in pivotal roles. Chellam sir, played by Uday Mahesh, also made an appearance in The Family Man 2. Samantha Akkineni and Sunny Hinduja were part of the second season but are unlikely to appear in the third season.
