The Kashmir Files continues to work well at the Box Office. The movie, helmed by Vivek Agnihotri, has crossed Rs. 70 crores even on the second weekend, which is a huge deal for the film. However, it doesn’t come as a surprise since the demand to watch The Kashmir Files has been growing and thus, more screens are dedicated to the movie too.

The film collected Rs. 71.25 crores on its second weekend, according to Box Office India. It minted Rs. 25 crores on Saturday and Rs. 26.5 crores on Sunday. The movie earned Rs. 19.75 crores on its second Friday.

Vivek’s film has the third-highest second weekend in Bollywood’s history at the Box Office. Prabhas’ Baahubali: The Conclusion and Aamir Khan’s Dangal have the best second weekend so far.

Akshay Kumar’s Bachchhan Paandey release has reportedly affected The Kashmir Files business to some extent. If Vivek’s movie did not face any competition at the Box Office, it might have beat both Dangal and Baahubali 2 in order to become the highest-grossing Bollywood film on a second weekend.

The Kashmir Files first week ended with the movie almost entering Rs. 100 crore club. It had minted Rs. 96.14 crores.

The movie has been working tremendously well in districts like Delhi, UP and East Punjab. Thus, The Kashmir Files might just be on its way to beat the record set by Baahubali 2 in these districts.

Earning Rs. 167.39 crores nett so far, The Kashmir Files might just be on its way to becoming the highest-grossing Indian film post the pandemic times. Currently, Akshay’s Sooryavanshi holds that position.

It appears that The Kashmir Files will continue to rule at the Box Office at least for a few more days. The movie might take a hit after Ram Charan-Jr. NTR’s RRR releases in theatres. However, that also depends on how the audiences like the SS Rajamouli directorial.

If going at the current speed, The Kashmir Files is likely to earn Rs. 200 crores nett in no time. The movie is expected to release on Zee5 post its theatrical run i.e. around May.
