Ever since the release of the Salman Khan-starrer, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, there have been dating rumours between him and his co-star, Shehnaaz Gill, who made her debut with this Farhad Samji directorial. Speaking in a chat show recently, the superstar responded to those rumours, clarifying that he had advised Shehnaaz to ‘move on’, which did not imply to ‘bring it on’.

Referring to the sudden demise of actor Siddharth Shukla in 2021, with whom Shehnaaz shared a bond on the set of Bigg Boss 13, Salman said, “Woh bohot hi heavy tha uske upar, aur woh toot rahi thi bechari bachchi. Toh maine bola ki ‘move on’. Iska ye matlab nahi ki main ‘bring it on’ bol raha hun.” Speaking on India TV’s Aap Ki Adalat, the actor said that he had advised Shehnaaz to ‘move on’. He also said that Siddharth is not in this world anymore, and he would want her to move on too.

‘Bring it on’ is a line from Salman’s latest release, which his onscreen character uses to challenge his opponents. During the trailer launch of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, Salman had asked Shehnaaz to ‘move on’, to which she had replied ‘kar gayi’. This garnered a lot of attention from the media, leading to dating rumours between the two.

Shehnaaz has had a successful stint after Bigg Boss. The actress has featured in multiple music videos in recent times, while she also hosts her own chat show - Desi Vibes with Shehnaaz Gill.

Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan - which has already crossed the ₹100-crore mark globally - also features Pooja Hegde, Raghav Juyal, Siddharth Nigam and Palak Tiwari, among others. Next, Salman will feature alongside Katrina Kaif in Maneesha Sharma’s upcoming spy thriller, Tiger 3.
