Thozhi: Soulful music and chemistry between Dulquer, Kajal are highlights of this melody

Leading choreographer Brinda surprised one and all when she announced her decision to take a plunge into filmmaking with Hey Sinamika, starring Dulquer Salmaan, Kajal Aggarwal and Aditi Rao Hydari in lead roles. The character posters of the three artists were unveiled recently, leaving their fans excited.

The makers had recently released the fast-paced track Achamillai from the film which had voice lent by Dulquer himself. Now, they have unveiled the melody track, titled Thozhi. Vijay Sethupathi unveiled the same from his Twitter page, while Prabhas and Rashmika Mandanna released its Telugu version, titled Praanam. Dulquer, too, took to his Twitter page to share the excitement on the song's release.

His post in Tamil read, "இதோ உங்களுக்காக, கண்கவர் மெல்லிசை #Thozhi பாடல்! #GovindVasantha & @madhankarky- யின் அற்புதமான மேஜிக்கல் காம்போவில் அபிமான நட்சத்திரங்கள் @dulQuer & @MsKajalAggarwal இடம்பெறும் (sic)."

Madhan Karky has penned the beautiful lyrics for the song which has soulful music by Govind Vasantha and mellifluous voice by Pradeep Kumar. The five-minute song has adorable chemistry between Dulquer and Kajal, too, which make their fans and other music lovers enjoy the lyric video in repeat mode. 

Billed as a triangular love story, the bilingual movie is expected to hit the screens later this year. Nakshathra Nagesh, Mirchi Vijay, Thapa, Koushick and Abhishek Kumar among others play key roles in the film.

Preetha Jayaraman has cranked the project which has editing by Radha Sreedhar. Karky himself has written the screenplay and dialogues for the movie which has been produced by Jio Studios.

Ashok has choreographed action sequences in the film while Brinda herself has composed dance moves. Dulquer, Kajal and Aditi essay Yaazhan, Malarvizhi and Mouna respectively in the romantic drama.
