From TikTok to the silver screen, actor and content creator Armaan Malik has had an interesting journey so far, though not one without its own sets of challenges. The star has recently come on board for an upcoming web series titled A Trip, alongside his wife and fellow content creator, Payal Malik. The show will reportedly be launched on a streaming platform in the coming months.
According to The Asian Age, Malik’s nabbing role has come after the star had to fight off some of his inner demons, a side effect that social media fame can bring in its wake. TikTok, which helped kick start his career and earned him the adoration of fans, had also induced self-doubt in him due to negative comments, and he had to combat by growing a thick skin. He elaborated that the worst thing one can do at a time like that is to compare one’s life with others, saying that different people are at different stages in life and one should always keep on the hustle.
Looking back at his start, he said that the time he took to establish himself as a content creator, while his peers were holding down steady jobs also put pressure on him, not to mention the TikTok ban in India just as his content was getting viral. However, the go-getter made a switch to Instagram. His discipline with constantly creating content brought in branding jobs his way, and the star even saw success with his music videos and his Youtube channel called Family fitness, which has over 2.5 million subscribers.
And now with A Trip, Armaan Malik’s career seems to show no signs of slowing down.
