Mary Poppins

This is a 1964 American fantasy film starring Julie Andrews, Dick Van Dyke, and Karen Dotrice. The story is about the titular Mary Poppins, who becomes a nanny for two mischievous children. She takes them to a magical world and imparts them life lessons with a touch of humor.

This 1965 Academy Award winner for Best Picture has Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer in the lead roles. When his beloved marries another man, he channels his angst into creating music.
