Twitter reactions: Kajol’s announcement on her web series debut with a Disney+ Hotstar project leaves fans excited

Kajol and Disney+ Hotstar announced their collaboration on a web series on Monday. The actress will mark her web series debut with this project. However, the makers haven’t revealed the show's title, plot, or characters related to it. Nevertheless, her fans have been excited ever since the news was out on social media. Many of them took to Twitter to express their happiness.

Kajol was seen attired in a stylish red pants suit in the video announcement. A powerful voiceover was heard saying "palat" (turn) after which she attempted to replicate the iconic sequence from her film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. The actress, who was all smiles, turned around and announced the surprise news of her association with Disney+ Hotstar.

Kajol had recently celebrated the 25th anniversary of her super hit film Gupt with her co-star Bobby Deol. The film was directed by Rajiv Rai and was released in theatres in 1997. The movie which garnered a huge success at the box office was also a trendsetter in the 90s.

The Dilwale actress also made headlines a few weeks ago when she received an invitation to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

On the work front, Kajol was last seen in Tanhaji, a period drama starring her husband Ajay Devgan and Saif Ali Khan. The actress is now filming Salaam Venky, formerly known as The Last Hurrah. The project stars Aahana Kumar, Rahul Bose, Vishal Jethwa, and director Revathi.
