Udhayanidhi's film with Magizh Thirumeni resumes shoot in Pondicherry

Amidst rumours about bidding a farewell to his acting career due to political commitments, Udayanidhi Stalin has resumed shooting for his new movie in Pondicherry. The project is helmed by Magizh Thirumeni, who has announced that seventy per cent of the shooting has been completed.

The untitled project had to be delayed many times due to the pandemic and Udhayanidhi Stalin’s active participation in the 2021 Assembly Elections. With his ascension as MLA, everyone speculated that he would say goodbye to films. Fortunately, the actor has quite a handful of projects in line for him. He is currently a part of the Tamil remake of the critically acclaimed Bollywood movie Article 15 and is also involved in Kannai Nambathey, an action film and Angel.

Actress Niddhi Agerwal plays the female lead in the movie. Niddhi debuted in 2017 in the Bollywood movie Munna Michael. She gained fame with her Telugu debut with Savyasaachi and later did films like Bhoomi and iSmart Shankar. She was last seen opposite actor Silambarasan in Eeswaran.
