University re-launches scholarship named after Shah Rukh Khan; read on

Shah Rukh Khan, who just celebrated 30 years in the Indian film industry, is also one of the handful of Bollywood stars whose fame has crossed borders and earned him a massive fan following throughout the globe. But in addition to his prowess on screen, the star has made sure to give back to the community with his humanitarian efforts. The actor recently joined hands with La Trobe University to relaunch a scholarship named after him.

The scholarship had been announced in 2019, when Khan visited the university to launch the program.Gopika Kottantharayil Bhasi was the first recipient to receive the scholarship.

The institution is now relaunching this unique scholarship, which is named well after SRK, and is valued at 225,000 dollars. Additionally, they acknowledged Shah Rukh Khan's charitable efforts to provide assistance to acid attack victims through his organisation, the Meer Foundation. It should be mentioned that in addition to caring for more than 120 victims of acid attacks, the organisation has helped Amphan victims and made a large financial contribution when Covid-19 shocked the globe.

Meanwhile, after taking a break, the actor swiftly began filming three projects, the first of which is scheduled to be released in 2023. Pathaan's first look poster went viral on social media, making the movie among the most awaited of 2023. The film will also star Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. After a lengthy absence of four years, the movie marks SRK's comeback to the big screen in a significant role. For the first time in 18 years, the actor will appear in three films in a single calendar year,with Siddharth Anand’s Pathaan, Atlee’s Jawan, as well as Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki.
