Nandamuri Balakrishna hosted the first episode of Unstoppable with NBK on Thursday, which not only marks the Telugu star’s hosting debut, but also his OTT debut. The one of a kind show’s first episode premiered on aha, the 100% Telugu streaming platform.
The first episode, which was released to coincide with the Diwali celebrations on November 4 featured the star in conversation with the Manchu family - which included actor, producer Mohan Babu, Lakshmi Manchu and Vishnu Manchu.
The episode had both its host and guests taking a trip down memory lane, talking about early days, the best and worst parts of their careers and more. They also talked about politics, cinema, controversies, interests and other things as well.
The first episode also brought a ray of hope in the life of 10-year-old boy Abdul Aziz, who sells bird feed for a living. He works to fund enough money for the treatment of his elder sister, who has brain cancer and also manages to balance his academics.
Nandamuri Balakrishna and Mohan Babu, moved by the young boy's efforts, promised to provide him free education as well as provide support for his sister's expenses.
The episode proved that the show will look to mix entertainment with a social purpose. Fans are also speaking highly about the ability of Balakrishna to handle the duties of a talk show host.
SOL Productions is putting the show together for aha, while Mansion House, the liquor brand is presenting the show. After the first episode, the show hosted by the man of the masses seems to have struck a chord with the masses.
