Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani on board for Nitesh Tiwari's next?

After locking in on Varun Dhawan as the leading man in his next venture, Nitesh Tiwari is on the lookout for his leading lady. The filmmaker seems to have found her in Kiara Advani. The Shershaah actress will reportedly star alongside Varun in Nitesh’s next directorial.

According to a report in Pinkvilla, Nitesh had made up his mind about giving the role to Kiara, although an official announcement has not been made yet. The project is touted to be a love story and the film is scheduled to start shooting sometime in February. The yet-to-be-titled film will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. Sajid had also served as a producer on Varun’s 2017 film Judwaa 2.

The report comes amid speculations that Jahnvi Kapoor would star opposite Varun in Nitesh’s upcoming project, although the makers had not commented on the same.

If confirmed, Nitesh’s upcoming project will mark Kiara and Varun’s latest collaboration together. The duo had previously both been a part of the 2019 Abhishek Varman directorial, Kalank, which was produced by Karan Johar. The pair will also be seen sharing screen in the upcoming film, Jug Jugg Jeeyo, directed by Raj Mehta. Also starring Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor, the film is produced by Karan Johar.

Meanwhile, Varun will also be seen in Amar Kaushik’s Bhediya. He will be sharing screen with Kriti Sanon and Janhvi. He is also on board for Rajkumar Hirani’s next project and will feature in a web series produced by the Russo Brothers.

Kiara’s upcoming releases include the Kartik Aaryan starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Govinda Naam Mera. In the latter, she will be sharing the screen with Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar.
